Wedding Venue Stories, Crowley’s Tree Farm: This week I got to speak to Jacob Crowley with Crowley’s Tree Farm, a 36 acre farm located about an hour south of Cleveland Ohio. Ohio hosts over 38,000 weddings a year, ranking 8th in the country! Starting a wedding venue business in an in demand market is exciting. Even more so when buying an established wedding venue with a great reputation and years of experience the current owner is willing to share! Including: contracts, photography contacts, policies, advice and more. While this is a rare occurrence in the wedding industry, it does happen. Jacob Crowley shares so much with us in this video about his first few months as a wedding venue owner. They officially became owners in May of this year, that’s right May of 2021! Jacob shares some risks his family took during the sales process that could have ended in a big loss but was totally worth it in the end. Fear or faith my friends, if you start your new business with fear guiding the way, you may not only lose out on opportunities you will likely miss out on valuable relationships that could save you time, headaches and money!
