Lynette and her husband Jerry, owners of The Ballroom at Windsor, began their wedding venue journey in 2004 as they were looking for a historic house with a few acres of land. They found a Christmas Tree Farm with a house on the National Historic Register. The property was once a 302-acre dairy farm before being carved up into smaller lots in the 1980s. While the house (dubbed “Windsor”, circa 1760) was lovingly restored, the other buildings and grounds needed a little extra care. What began as a cheerful Christmas Tree farm quickly turned into a beloved destination for engaged couples! The number of starry-eyed couples seeking to exchange vows at our Christmas Tree farm has increased year after year. Lynette & Jerry work so hard to ensure that every couple who chooses The Ballroom at Windsor have the time of their lives! This is a prime example of why we hope to encourage engaged couples to choose locally owned wedding venues. Find more information about The Ballroom at Windsor on their website, where you can also find their wedding planning blog and virtual tour.
