Meet Arline Beets of Drakewood Farm, photographer turned wedding venue owner. I had the pleasure of touring Drakewood Farm during the Wedding Venue Owners Working Vacation to Nashville in 2023. Arline provided a venue tour and education session sharing the strategies for success she has used to drive sales, increase bookings and grow her wedding venue team. She consistently books a high volume of weddings and events annually. Drakewood Farm has hosted celebrity weddings and has been featured in numerous wedding and lifestyle magazines and blogs. Arline has traveled the country photographing weddings in almost every state. She has a wedding industry background unlike any other venue owner I have ever met. This is definitely one of The Most Successful Wedding Venues in America, Drakewood Farm! We are honored to have Arline Beets as our featured wedding venue education speaker May 5 to 8th for our Wedding Venue Owners Working Vacation in Nashville!
What makes a wedding venue one of the most successful wedding venues in America? It’s a combination of the best strategies, an expert team, happy clients, endurance, technology, content management, tourism support, experience, referrals, venue allyship, innovative solutions and a passion for elevating the wedding industry locally and nationally. Drakewood Farm checks all these boxes and more. During our Wedding Venue Owners Working Vacation to Nashville, Arline not only welcomed wedding venue owner colleagues to her venue for a tour, she also shared some of her brilliant & proven strategies for success. Arline Beets is an educator at heart, while managing one of the most successful wedding venues in the country, she makes time to uplift and support others along the way! The future of locally owned wedding venue success relies heavily on venue owner to venue owner support like this.
Arline Beets has been in the wedding industry since age seventeen when she became an emerging photographer by accident. A nearby wedding realized the photographer hadn’t show up, so as editor of her high school paper, she was the only one close by with a good camera. She found out she enjoyed shooting weddings and the couple loved their photos. After college she worked as a full-time photographer and mother to four children. She won many photography awards through Professional Photographers of America including best album and many 1st place Wedding category prints.
She expanded her company to include a team of photographers and added coordinating, photo booths, draping and lighting. After coordinating over a thousand weddings and photographing over 1500 weddings she used extensive wedding experience to open Drakewood Farm which just celebrated its 10th year in business. Drakewood Farm specializes in custom all-inclusive weddings and events. Arline believes she has the best job in the world and loves to share her experiences in running a successful wedding venue that host 125-150 weddings annually.
During the Wedding Venue Owners Working Vacation to Nashville May 5-8, we will explore added revenue streams venue owners should consider. Namely, elopements, micro weddings and all inclusive options. Many wedding venue owners have tried to add these packages to their wedding venue services and failed to get bookings. Arline Beets will instruct an afternoon education session on the topic of how to successfully add these valuable and in demand services to your wedding venue. Wedding Venue Owners Working Vacations are currently $399 per person, however, we do offer free weekly wedding education workshops. Use this link for more information on our free workshops.
