When heading to Messiah College less than 7 miles away, Roundtop Mountain Resort just under 7 miles away for some skiing or Hershey Park, just under 13 miles from us. In addition to lodging, this venue is perfect for weddings, anniversary parties, showers, birthday events and more. The wedding venue developed by requests of potential couples to be the dominant activity on the farm as the owners grew the business to a point the owners were happy with. The venue could easily be expanded to many times our current level if the new owner so desired. The entire property is on public water and has septic systems.
This facility is the home of the owners as well as the reception center for all guests arriving on the property. The home contains over 6000 square feet of finished space. It is the most historical part of the property beginning with the lower subsurface rooms that were the trappers cabin in the early 1700’s. In later years, around 1800, the log cabin part of the home was built as the main home of the farmer, portions of the log cabin are visible in the dining room used for the bed and breakfast. The log cabin included two stories and the second story now has two bedrooms and a bath that are used for the bed and breakfast.
The current modern kitchen is in an area of the home built in the early 1900’s. It has a large island, granite and quartz counter tops, huge stainless-steel refrigerator/freezer, pantry, coffee bar, stainless steel high ceiling, induction cooktop, 2 wall ovens, 2 double stainless steel sinks one is farmhouse style, and small sink at coffee bar, stainless steel dishwasher, garbage disposal, custom cabinetry, and vinyl/wood flooring. Of course, all the above areas have been professionally remodeled.
The remainder of the home includes 6 additions that were made over the last 20 years. These areas include a large reception/living room, foyer, billiards room with custom paneled stained walls and beams, 4 full bathrooms and 2 powder rooms, laundry room, 3 fireplaces, in total 5 bedrooms, office, 2 family rooms with beams, one with built in wet bar with granite counter top, large patio with fireplace, and a 2 car garage and mud room. 3 of the bedrooms are master suites and 2 have balconies. Stamped concrete for the porches and walkways. Full walk out basement with utility sink.
This is the B&B consisting of 3 suites with each containing it’s own bath, two have whirlpool tub for 2, all three have a kitchenette and a fireplace. The facility was totally refinished in 2009 converting it from an antique shop and work shop to what it is today. There is parking for 3 vehicles in front of The Carriage House. This facility is in constant use for the wedding guests “getting ready” rooms and Bed and Breakfast guests.
Building #3 The Barn
The facility is believed to be 200 years old, the top portion of it was redone 25 years ago and all the structure was brought to the current finish in recent years.
The building is a 2-story bank barn. The upper part is the venue space most often used for ceremonies and or receptions. A restroom and prep kitchen were added to make the space desirable for these activities. The lower level contains a workshop and lower stalls used now as storage areas.
Building #4 The Stables
The 50 x 100 foot steel building is remodeled with a fireplace, a prep kitchen 2 restrooms and a large reception area. Air conditioning and heating allow the facility to be used year-round.
Adjacent to the enclosed area is a large patio with 2 pergola’s, a stage, special lighting, a bar, stone work and landscaping.

1) A pergola area for ceremony site
2) A gazebo at the lake that serves as a wedding ceremony site. (The lake is stocked and used by overnight guests for catch and release.)
