Celebrating wedding venues with 5 star reviews is one of my favorite things we do here on WeddingVenueOwners.com. I have toured over 800 wedding venues in the last 10 years, there is nothing quite like actually touring a wedding venue and getting inspired, excited and motivated by all the beautiful venue features you get to experience in person. While visiting a website or social media does not give you the full experience, these online options are valuable and enjoyable and in my opinion wedding venues who provide an exciting online experience deserve a 5 Star review! I typically research about 200 wedding websites a week and it only makes sense that during hours of searching, I should pull a few of the venues out for some wedding industry love, acknowledgement and venue owner to venue owner support. Below I have this weeks 5 star wedding venues along with my 5 reasons I believe they deserve a 5 star review. The Rosemary Barn, McKinney Texas
Top 5 reasons I think The Rosemary Barn deserves 5 star reviews from colleagues and anyone who loves to support wedding industry businesses in general are: 1. Head over to their website, they have a great site, giving us the #1 reason for a 5 star review and that is their top notch wedding venue website. Easy to navigate, lots of relative information, quality images, clearly a wedding site! Love the logo 2. The “Included with Rental” page on their site, it lists tons of added value and I guarantee this is a great tool in their lead to booking conversion! 3. The Farmhouse Chapel is a gorgeous new addition to their venue, check out the farm tables and chairs – beautiful and unique! 4. The bridal suite does everything it is supposed to do: plenty of room, elegant, modern, tons of natural light and the design elements are gorgeous!! That neon light is awesome! 5. Sunset Bluffs, Washington Missouri
Five things I love about Sunset Bluffs, just from visiting their website and social media, let’s go…. 1. On the water is an understatement, this venue was built on the 110ft bluffs overlooking a lovely 9 acre quarry lake. 2. The architecture & design of the venue are a wedding industry standout. 3. The gorgeous outdoor fireplace, I love the beautiful stonework and the warmth this adds to their guests outdoor enjoyment. 4. The views are incredible. 5. The outdoor trellis dining… I have never seen this before, see the image below, I am always so excited to see something new and appreciate it out loud!! FIVE STARS FOR YOU!! Silver City Ballroom, Meriden Connecticut
This all inclusive wedding venue is located near Hartford & Newhaven in Connecticut. 1. The video on their website gets my first of 5 stars. Video is so valuable, especially when its done well. Video absolutely helps you book more weddings and convert more leads into bookings! 2. Check out the video on their home page to see one of their coolest features, the vault. I have seen a few vaults over the years but this one is so cool, keeping some of the history of the building for guests to enjoy and incorporate in their events. 3. The interior and exterior lighting sets this venue apart from other venues. 4. Their social media pages are up to date with lots of great content including VIDEO, lots of video! For those of you wondering why this deserves 5 stars…its a full time job to keep up quality social media and when a business does a great job on their WEDDING social media, it benefits everyone in the market. FIVE STARS!! 5. Historic property, built in 1922 as the “Home Bank & Trust Company” this venue has been preserved for generations to come to enjoy the beautiful architecture. I’ve said it a million times, our venue owners are keeping the treasures alive thanks to the revenue they generate from weddings and events. YOU DESERVE A BIG THANK YOU and 5 Stars! The Kindred Barn in Mulberry Arkansas
You can’t help but fall in love when you look at the images on The Kindred Barn website and social media. Here are my top 5 reasons this venue deserves a 5 star review just from all the magic of their online presence. 1. The gorgeous barn interior design, there are lots of layers interest here and the natural lighting is gorgeous. 2. They have something called a “OPEN BARN” this is quite brilliant, couples can come through to tour the barn and among other things, “rummage through our decor closet” this is brilliant. 3. The “About Us” page is epic, not only do they have an intro with some information on the family that owns & operates the venue, the entire page has so many loving, charming images of the family enjoying the property and making special memories there. I don’t want to diminish their memories by talking business, but this is an incredibly warm feature on their page that makes you feel connected to the venue owners before you ever meet them! This, I guarantee you, increases their conversion rates! 4. I love an “about us” page but I really believe that adding a page about “Our Team” and celebrating your team on your website is powerful! Acknowledge your stand out team by adding something about them on your site. I believe that this strengthens the bond between owners & their team. 5. The Kindred Barn sits on 100 acres of beautiful Arkansas farmland, including a gorgeous vineyard. Imagine what it takes to manage a property like this….worthy of 5 stars, yes, yes, yes! BONUS They have 8800 followers on Facebook and almost 6500 on Instragram, that creates value for their venue and for the entire wedding community they services. Way to go Kindred Barn! The Silos Barn, Bono Arkansas
The Silos Barn offers a beautiful barn, historic chapel, and scenic fields full of sunflowers. There are so many reasons this venue deserves 5 stars but here are my top 5…. 1. The gorgeous barn exterior transformation, as shown below in the before and after images. They did not go with a red (though you know I love a red barn) they chose a bold, dark color and what they have now is unique, impressive and dramatic!! 2. Sunflower fields, did you know that in certain counties there is actually a valuable reason to add at least 1/3 acre of agricultural improvements to your property? Not sure if that had anything to do with The Silos beautiful sunflowers, maybe they are just there for the world to enjoy a little fall beauty! Either way, 5 stars! 3. The gorgeous outdoor fireplace and patio, I love a warm inviting outdoor space to enjoy cocktails, stargazing and romance during a wedding! 4. I have to acknowledge the silos, they are a unique and charming venue feature perfectly in tune with this a farm wedding venue. 5. This venue is very community supportive, on The Silos Barn Instagram page they have a “feature” section just for their vendors! This is so important, if you have outstanding vendors living up to the couples expectations and supporting your venue with outstanding service, LOVE THEM UP!
